As part of the ongoing development of the energy market in Luxembourg, the creation of a Leneda Energy ID will become mandatory for all natural gas and/or electricity customers.
The Leneda Energy ID is a personal, secure and unique identifier created via the national Leneda platform. It enables the centralised management of your energy data and facilitates data exchanges between the various market participants (network operator, supplier, etc.).
- Your Leneda Energy ID only needs to be created once
- You will keep this same identifier for life, including in the event of moving home or changing supplier
- The identifier is free of charge and independent of your energy contract
As your energy supplier, we will need to request your Leneda Energy ID, particularly when setting up a new contract.
This step has no impact on your current contract or your energy supply. It is purely an administrative formality imposed at national level.

If you do not have LuxTrust, you will simply need to prepare a valid identity document and use a device equipped with a camera in order to complete the process.
